What data we collect
- Identity information — name, date of birth, company details
- Contact details — email address, phone number, postal address
- Financial information — property details, loan requirements, asset and liability information provided during enquiry
- Website analytics — visitor behaviour data (pages visited, session duration, traffic source) collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4, property G-STXKVDG9CK) using pseudonymous cookie identifiers; and aggregate, anonymous visitor counts via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no IP storage, no personal data)
We only collect information that is necessary to assess your finance requirements and provide our service.
Why we collect it
- To assess your finance requirements and structure a suitable deal
- To present your deal to the lenders best suited to it
- To communicate with you about your application
- To comply with anti-money laundering regulations
- To improve our website and services
Legal basis
- Legitimate interest — processing enquiries and providing quotes
- Contract performance — when we act on your behalf to arrange finance
- Legal obligation — AML and record-keeping requirements
- Consent — for marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time)
Who we share it with
We share your information with:
- Lenders — when submitting your deal for consideration (only with your knowledge)
- Solicitors and valuers — involved in your transaction
- Compliance providers — for AML and identity verification checks
- Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 may collect your IP address (anonymised before storage), browser type, device type, and pages you visit. Data is processed by Google LLC. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We never sell your data to third parties. We do not share your information with anyone not directly involved in your transaction.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry and transaction data — 6 years from last contact, in line with financial services record-keeping requirements
- Website analytics — Google Analytics 4 data retained per your GA4 property settings (Google default 14 months); Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregate only, no individual data stored
- Marketing consent records — until consent is withdrawn

Cookies
Analytics, in plain English. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages actually help people. It is for statistical purposes only: we don't use it for advertising, and it doesn't track you across other sites. If you'd rather not be counted, you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets first-party analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_STXKVDG9CK) on your device to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. These cookies do not identify you personally. The Cloudflare Web Analytics service is also loaded; it is anonymous and cookieless and does not set cookies or store your IP address. Strictly necessary session cookies are used only where the site functionally requires them (for example, to preserve your form input across a refresh).
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies.
Security
We protect your data through encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS), secure storage, and access limited to authorised staff only. We regularly review our security measures to ensure they remain appropriate.
